GREEN PROFILES

The day seems not unfolding as planned. My idea was to reach and assemble the gear before the sunrise among the cornfields. But I couldn’t spot my two buddies at the appointed place, hearing their cell-phones gone silent, a tad upset, I couldn’t decide what next. I felt an urge to go all alone. Having noticed a dull orange shade crawling up at the horizon, I needed to move fast, but the noisy darkness in tall stalks among thick fields unnerved me.

Anyway, I decided to go by myself picking up the heavy paraphernalia, selected a place among the fields not too deep inside but safe enough to be noticed by any passers-by.

After a short while, the magical charm of sunshine’s flow began. Ignoring the camera on the tripod, I stood awed at the shining brilliance reflecting on each leaf, on tender stalks, and on the silks of young corns sprouting out. It’s a pure joy to watch the play of light – soft, diffused, and reflecting on small dew drops twinkling like small eyes. Later, I took a pleasant time to reveal them through my lens – the Green glamour.
