THE HOME

The buildings stood together as if merging with the gush of the noisy river running alongside. They stood modestly on the long bank of the river Krishna, which itself is a spectacular ambiance seemed like healthfully lucky. For those who live in the two floored, sloped roof houses.

Built with low coast terracotta bricks, adding an extra radiance, I could see the trees decoratively framing each building. Each portico is rich and green with climbing vines, their bright flowers cheering anyone who passes by them.

This is a little heaven: home for a huge family of orphaned children about a hundred of them both boys and girls aged below ten years living at the mercy of caretakers and Government patronage. Navajeevan Bala Bhavan an NGO runs this residential orphanage.

It’s in Vijayawada, (Andhra Pradesh) India.
